March Wrap Up

The months just fly by - I thought February went fast... March went even faster! So here we go (backwards style because Blogger seems to like it that way better!)

We are back home today after our spring overnight with our Girl Scout troop - we went to Discovery Center in Springfield, MO and a quick stop at Bucees for breakfast on the way home.

Merlin's cage got cleaned out after his hibernation so I got to babysit...

It's been  nice to have time over Spring Break to work on all the things that pile up - especially Girl Scout patches.

We had a fun evening at Walton Arts Center seeing "A Taste of Ireland" - it was a great show!

But the big trip over Spring Break was to Iowa and back...

We had an eagle's nest outside of our hotel room so it was so fun watching them come and go and take turns on the nest.

This where Emily's hoping to go to Grad school - we'll find out in a couple weeks if there's a spot for her. They only take about 6 a year so we'll see.. but it was a great visit and she really liked the school and department.

Before heading to Iowa - Nora joined us for our stop in Kansas City.  Nora and Emily went to Planet Comicon there and had a great time - they acutally saw David Tennant too!

While they were at Comicon - I did some wandering around Kansas City myself....

Temperatures have been all over the place - so trying to keep up...
We had a fun St. Patrick's day - a day early since it was aon a Monday...

And that's a wrap for March!  We'll see how quickly April goes by as we are prepping for graduation...

Across the Pond

Nora spent 3 weeks in England on a study abroad program - Medieval England... she had the best time.  I'll gather up more of her pictur...
