Long Weekend

Checking on our garden - and with all the rain we have had, things have really taken off - even our asparagas!

A little wren has made a nest in our bat house...

and I think a wren has also made a nest in our bluebird house...

Rose has been enjoying Rolo cuddle time...

and Nora is enjoying the guitar too! 

But she's also all ready to be a Senior Girl Scout  - her new uniform arrived and we transfered everything over...

Saturday night we headed to the drive in to see Cruella - the movie was really good! 

But we got quite the show when a set of Starlink satellites went over head - it was just wild!

 

We then had a spa night last night... 

and today had a quiet Memorial Day -  but enjoyed some yummy fruit pizza for dessert!

 

Final Countdown

Today was field day for Rose - an actual track and field day with events and goodies and everything!  She was so excited!!  

It's been a fun week of wildlife - turtles and baby deer... 

We've had so much rain - but a huge rainbow the other day... 

Rose only has a few days left of walking across the field as a 5th grader... 

and Nora has really gotten into coding - and was writing html code the other day... 

Today was also Kindergarten graduation - 

our little hybrid class was all together for the first time this whole year... 

and we also celebrated one of the aide's retirement as well... 

Rose was gifted with a guitar at school - she is so excited to learn how to play... 

Nora took part in a Walton Family Foundation focus group discussion 

while more rain moved in... 

Emily went to her last painting class today - what pretty fllowers!!

Yesterday we celebrated National Red Head day with a little treat for our special red head! 

But today she came home with awards from school... 

All A's in all her class as well as the President's Education Award... 

and to top off the week so far - we got this email from our Girl Scout council - recognize anyone in the pictures they have?  :)
