FLL states

We finally made it back to school on Friday,  only to get news that we are getting some form of an ice storm on Sunday night through Monday... so who knows what kind of week we'll have next week!  But for this weekend, we had FLL State competition.   The girls did great... finished 15th out of 32 teams there from across the state in the robot rounds and they're project presentation went great too!  So proud of these girls... we'll meet up next week to take a part the Lego table and celebrate with an ice cream party... and then bassing on the FLL baton.  Rose is aging out of the program so after 12 years of leading the charge for the team, we'll just be spectators next year. 

Snow days!

It has been brutally cold today... wind chills of -12 and single digit on zero actual Temps.   So while we are inside trying to stay warm and poty training a puppy, at least two of the dogs are loving this weather. It does look beautiful outside but since it won't get above single digits u til Wednesday,  not sure when we'll get back to school!

Cassie

Welcome to the zoo Cassie... meet our new addition, Cassiopeia, our new puppy.  We'll call her Cassie for short.  She's a two other old Great Pyrenees pup.. She's so cuddly and fluffy!  All the animals are doing great with her - Dixie loves playing with her!  Thankful for some days off school due to weather to be able to hang out with her more. 

New Year kicking off

We had a yummy Polish feast for New Years Day and then headed back to school last Wednesday.   It's been a crazy start as we had a snow day Friday, went back Monday and then out again today.  We have more chances of snow Friday, this weekend and Monday... so who knows when we'll have a normal full week of school.  We did get our Girl Scout Meeting in last weekend and have the girls all ready to start cookie sales this Friday...
