Playing catch up

Playing catch up today -Nora helping celebrate her friend's birthday and then sharing some birthday fun for me...

one of my parents from school brought me goodies on my birthday...

but i wasn't thrilled with this goodie that dixie left for me...
but i gave myself time monday afternoon - so nice to sit outside and read!

once the girls were home - we all enjoyed the beautiful weather!

then onto family fun night for rose's class...

isn 't this great?!  down in the 40s!!!
tuesday adventures include art, choir and swimming...

and rose and I spent some time at the library too!

yesterday - that lovely morning sun heading to school...
and a drawing left from nora...
this morning rose was all cheetahed up...
but it was a great day to swap out sheets - bringing the flannels out...

and catching up on things  -these two were having fun watching out front together...

then i mowed the lawn - with the temps we've been having - this might be it for the year!
a quick check on our tadpoles - still no frogs!
then off to get the girls from school... nora was making cranes in art class...
but when they got hoe they were surrprised to find their girl scout ranger badges came in the mail.
 a little down time -

 then off to soccer...

it was beautiful - but boy when that sun went down - it got chilly!

Sunday Morning...

Our Sunday morning - the song "Easy like a Sunday Morning" keeps ringing in my head - whoever wrote that song didn't have 3 girls, one heading for choir practice before Mass and then classes afterwards... ha!  Anyway - it was great listening to the children's choir sing today - and Nora got to play the handbells too!
We were back home for a little bit - some Cookie Kicker prep and play practice for Nora - Rose caught up on her piano practice... and off we went... the Cookie Kickers had their meeting and then Girl Scouts started...
I  headed out with the Seniors to work on part of their 'Adventure" badge - we hit the rock climbing wall...
 They did great!!

Then back home and I enlisted my helpers to prep dinner...
 Time to hit the hay!!!

Across the Pond

Nora spent 3 weeks in England on a study abroad program - Medieval England... she had the best time.  I'll gather up more of her pictur...
