Departure and Christmas Tree

We sent Mom and Dad back to Florida early this morning... it was so great to have them! 

We spotted a family of deer as we left the airport...

but boy was it cold outside!

We picked up donuts on the way home ...

... and Rose spotted our elf ...

She'll be quarantined for a bit with her arrival..  :)

We spent the morning catching up on things here and there...

and then headed out to get our Christmas tree...

Emily picked up a poinsettia for her dorm room...

We're trying a new spot this year - well, an old spot....

We also picked up our stained glass ornaments that we made last week...

Then onto tree decorating...

Aww.... so pretty...

 

Thanksgiving and Lights

I forgot I had more pictures of our morning visitor from the other day...

We had such a nice Thanksgiving... some pictures from one camera before pictures from the other...

                                                              

 

The weather was so nice - and it was great to have some outside time...

Lots of fun,food, piano playing and game playing.. and so much food!!! 

This morning we pulled out the Christmas boxes...

So much fun decorating the house... inside and out...

We then had a Christmas piano recital before Mom and Dad head out tomorrow...

And then headed to the square for Lights of the Ozarks...

 

We finished up tonight with games and movie time... sweet sweet times together!!
