Three Little Piggies

 Our Three Little Piggies - sure did keep us hopping today... so much stuff going on!  Whew!  Rose has a couple days left (well, one now) with one of her teachers.  She loves her so much and is so excited to see her each day so I know she'll miss her.  She  met her new teacher today too... and said she was really  nice...

 Emily had a great time at her art class this afternoon - she made a chalkboard that she painted herself with chalkboard paint and the canvas is a mixed media piece she did - so neat! 

And this little piggie.. so excited about Family Math Night tonight... and she won!  She won a door prize and chose the game "Spoons"... she wanted to play it right away tonight (way past bedtime) so I convinced her I'll read up on it tonight and we can play tomorrow.  Hopefully she won't be up at 5am asking me to play tomorrow morning!

Stampin' Fun

Ahh  -to sit in sun puddles all day as the kitties do... wouldn't that be nice?!

 Instead of sitting in sun puddles - we hit the stamps.  We had a card making class - so fun seeing what the girls make. 

 Nora made a bunch of cards but also these little goodies as well.. love her little pink girl - she made her all out of tape!

 And then for Emily - she really liked the bird stamp today!

 Then to wrap up a fun day - a mean game of Spit! :o)  Off to another week!

This and That

 What a odd couple days and nights... Gabby started Wednesday night with getting up a bunch during the night which isn't like her but we've been having raccoons and opossums and other critters out back at night and with the windows open, her and the cats have been right there greeting them all...all night long!  Ugh!  Well, last night it got worse and after one accident in the house and some not so fun bathroom visits outside - it finally dawned on me what happened - she ate almost an entire suet cake by herself and it's finally working it's way through.  Well, one trip outside was greeted with a serenade of a coyote pack - I was able to record some of it before they stopped:

 This morning presented a beautiful sunrise... then Nora was up early ready for "Superhero Day" at school... guess who she went as? Ha!

 Rose was busy drawing away this morning - this was her portrait of Nora that she did. :) 

 Then off to school, back home and more bathroom clean up from Gabby. ugh!  Seems to be getting better this afternoon - but ugh!  Then as Nora got off the bus, two of her friends down the street in their superhero garb came down and I snapped a picture of the three of them...

 Home for some more playtime and then off to robotics.. the last meeting at Morgan's work - from here on out they'll be meeting at the house because they'll be needing to practice on the competition table that one of the parents is building and it will be housed here.  So we had a packed car tonight and off they went... what a fun group!

The Big 40

 A quiet day - a little Wiggles (classic Wiggles that is!) watching, lunch with Morgan but some very excited little girls that couldn't wait for tonight to celebrate my birthday.  I think they were more excited than I was!  ha! 

We were just planning on celebrating with dinner out this weekend but Morgan and the girls had a little surprise planned... yummy cookie cake and presents after soccer. :o)

 Yup... that's my crazy crew... :)  So onto the next 40!  And we'll see what adventures those years bring.... :)

Double Dipping

 Some double dipping going on here - funny, when I first brought out the cup of milk, Rose looked a me and said "Don't put it in the milk"... ha!  After I had her try it, she kept wanting more. :) 

 Then after school, Nora had a friend come home with her on the bus... they were so excited!

Oh but then it was time to clean up -

and they were just about to finish up their fashion show... I told them they could do it when they play again but they wanted to remember what they were wearing - well, a quick picture will help with that!

 Then it was time to walk Caroline home, but dinner had to be made too... solution?  Enlist Emily to get things started. :o)

 Then off we go... aren't they cute?

Happy Fall

 What a fun first day of Fall!  Caramel apples to start off the afternoon...

Then off to our girl scout meetings... the Cadettes continued their fun with the digital secretary position - it's fun to see the images they capture throughout the meeting - this week's photographer was Emily's buddy Teaghan...

 We finished each girl's meetings a little early to have a little "First Day of Fall" fun...we talked to the girls about Fall, Fall colors, and Fall foods.  They were treated to a candy corn and apple snack... and we did leaf rubbings...

 So much fun!

Summer Ends

 Enjoying the last day of summer today - the weather was perfect... it got down to 48 last night!
