Halloween Fun

 Dixie was resting up today for tonight's tick or treaters.  :)

 The girls helped me make our Halloween dinner - pumpkin bread, mummy hot dogs, candy corn pizza, mandarin orange pumpkin and Fanta. :)

 and then we were off... notice anyone missing?  :(  First year trick or treating without Emily... she had art class and a lot of homework so she opted not to join us when she got home...

 So it was just the 3 of us...

 But the girls had a blast...

 and came home with quite a load! 

 Rose showed me a picture of her and her friend from school. 

 and Rose was drawing some of the costumes she saw while trick or treating...

 But looky here - next Thursday - snowflakes on the forecast.... yay!!!

Birds

 Some pictures from yesterday  - we had a Girl Scout event after getting home from camping...

 Then some playtime before bed...

 Today was my school's Halloween parade - the kiddos had a lot of fun...

 and the staff dressed up as crayons...

The fall colors are really brilliant - almost time for us to take a drive and take it all in!

 Nora finished a class project - a timeline island...

 Then Rose being silly at bedtime...

 Emily working on a project for English...

 and me - finishing up teacher gifts for Halloween tomorrow...

(more owls this morning too... then a hawk took the tree over too!)

Camp Freeze

 Camping with my Juniors.. a cold camping that's for sure!! 

 We were so thankful to be inside.. but with no heat working - it was a cold  night!!

 Lots of fun though - but this morning when we left - temps in the 20s and wind chill in the teens... brrr!!!
