So here goes our week - a wacky wild one at that... Nora's sleeping bag arrived for her school overnight trip (these girls need to stop growing! They keep growing out of everything!).... then Easter prep means jelly beans - never thought to put them in an Italian Ice though!
We delivered Girl Scout cookies to the fire station and had a tour...
and a random find - a double topped carrot...
My ladybug larvae and caterpillars arrived for my classroom...
But our week came to a halt Tuesday when Rose got up Monday night throwing up - so we were home that day doing laundry and taking care of a sick little one...
Polly is slowly coming out more and more...
thankfully she seemed to be doing better as the day went on...
I had to head out for a little bit as we had a vet appt for the kitties. Just a check on Misty's stitches and to have them all checked out by our vet. So... did you know that cat's can have heart murmurs!? yep - leave it to us... Misty has a heart murmur... our vet was surprised she made it through getting spayed as she said most times they don't make it through being put under. So it's just something to watch - but yes, we have a kitten with a heart murmur ... but at least they didn't catch any of Dixie's ringworm!
It's pretty much been raining every single day...
See... Polly and Misty eating together - wow!!
Rose , feeling better Wednesday, headed back to school and was excited to bring home her dinosaur diorama.
And Nora keeps finding 4 leaf clovers in the field out back...
A little computer fun...
and Girl Scout planning!
Yesterday I had lunch with Rose before making copies at school...
and Rose is enjoying her new afterschool clubs - she is taking gymnastics and knitting loom for the next 8 weeks. She's loving it so far!!
Last night, Rose had a tea party with the Kappa Delta mentors - her's is in Spain but another KD stood in for her. :)
She had princess tea and came home stuffed...
Then tonight we had the Cow Paddy Run - Nora and Rose "ran" while Emily and I waited...
fun for them but very muddy!
Easter goodies from down south...
But to top off the week... Morgan had his follow up appt with the eye surgeon - he'll be having his cataract surgery in May... and to top it off... turns out he has glaucoma in that eye too... ugh! So with all that, getting ready to leave for Ohio again and the end of year usual stuff... I'm about done!
Saw this a few days ago - thinking it's an April Fool's joke...guess we'll find out!!
