Donuts!  I never saw Rose get dressed so quick - Dad asked her this morning if she wanted to go get donuts with him... yum!

After some serious play time and then lunch - we played dominoes... so fun teaching Nora and Rose!

Rose was so serious about it!

Day's Wandering

Gifts from Mom and Dad started our day and the girls got busy using them.... Emily loved her puzzle book which included dot to dots with 1100 dots in it..
And with some giggly fun in the middle...
The girls were popping their poppers all over... so fun!
We then discovered this little kitty exploring one of our new additions... so if we can't find Polly.. .most likely she's in Nora's room staring at Sarah...
Gabby was enjoying all her walks today...
But then after lunch we headed out for a little adventure.
Our first stop was the Arkansas Air and Military Museum.

We have driven by this place a bunch of times and never went.  So glad we did - it had so much more than I ever thought it did.
 We wandered through the exhbits...

After leaving the first hanger, we went to the military one...

While wandering through, there was a volunteer there - a 90yr old veteran - who shared some amazing stories and facts with us... what a pleasure it was to have him showing us around.

Before leaving the 3rd building, we signed the registry and headed out again.

The girls got to turn on a jet plane engine...

 And then some more exploring...

We learned lots of little tidbits and I love how Nora doesn't hesitate to ask questions!

 Then onto the outdoor exhibits...

From there we headed north to check out the Daisy Airgun Museum - another little gem that we had never stopped in at ...

Dad showed us one in the exhibit case that was just like one that he had as a kid...

And as soon as Nora spotted the pink ones - she wanted one!  Ha!
and what fun to play with a whole barrell of BBs..
And to wrap up our day - dinner at our favorite Lin's Garden...

Across the Pond

Nora spent 3 weeks in England on a study abroad program - Medieval England... she had the best time.  I'll gather up more of her pictur...
