Halloween

Realized I didn't post pictures last night - fell asleep with the laptop on my lap... ha!
The sunrise yesterday was so pretty -
After a full day of school and volunteering - these cuties came home with us.. they were so excited!!

Talk about a carfull of giggles!!
They had such fun playing.. .it was dress up day at school, hence the costumes!

A little kitty cuddle time and a movie while dinner cooks...

Then onto PetSmart for more kitty cuddles...

This morning was robotics... the girls came up with their robot design...

and after a day of play time- it was Halloween dinner fun...
And off we went... the big girls continuing their tradition of coming along.. so fun! :o)

Once we got back to the house, our basket was just about empty - wow!
But the girls had fun giving out the rest of the candy and Rose even gave some of her candy to put in the  basket so they could hand out more.

Once back inside, the great candy trade off began...

Lots of fun to wrap up a fun night!

Librarian for the Day

Forgot to post these last night - such a beautiful afternoon and some great outdoor time...

Today I was librarian for the day - but since my schedule was a little light, I got to pop in and see the girls during the day.  What a great day to do so too!   This is the month of Holcomb's multicultural event that I am chair of.  Today, Nora and Rose's class had their presenters come from the university.
Rose's presenter is from Panama and her class is learning to do a May Pole dance up on stage on November 13th.

Then I got to see Nora when her class came to the library....
Funny thing, as her class lined up, one of her classmates asked me if I knew Emily - ha!  She found one of Emily's birthday books...

I  had a break again just in time to eat lunch with Nora...
and another  break so I could go see Nora's presenters teaching her class their Peruvian dance that they will be doing on the 13th as well.

Once home, the girls made ghost lollipops for their classmates for tomorrow...
and we found this on the front porch... yay!
Thanks Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Frank!
And to finish up for the night - a little bedtime story by Rose:

Across the Pond

Nora spent 3 weeks in England on a study abroad program - Medieval England... she had the best time.  I'll gather up more of her pictur...
