Snap Chatting with No Chatting

Lizzie seems less than thrilled with her new sleeping arrangements - but we might have had a puppy breakthrough tonight - twice Dixie has whined at the door or window to go outside and do her business.  WooHoo!  

 While we were at piano - we were entertained by the trombones practicing the National Anthem...

 and nibbled on snack...

 Then after getting to piano, dropping Nora off at dance, going back to piano to get Emily and then back to get Nora from dance and rush hour traffic - we just swung by and picked up dinner.. ugh!  Hate doing that too much!  

Look what was in Nora's waffle though!  Ha!  

 And obviously, this is how Rose gets ready for bed...

 And to finish up - lots and lots of pictures from SnapChat - we don't do anything with the app really except take funny pictures with the filters... so this is how we kept busy during piano and dance classes...

Setting Up

It's that time of year again - time to set up the classroom, setting up for fundraisers...

For Emily - well, she doesn't have any fundraisers at her school - just her own personal one of earning money still towards her trip to Quebec with her French Class. :)

 Dixie missed all her buddies - the girls at school, Morgan at work and I've been up at school setting up my classroom.

 Our tadpoles are still growing...

 And look what I found browsing the Girl Scout Diamonds FB page?  That's Nora and a few girls from her troop when they went to Crystal Bridges in August!

Girl Scouts

 Sweet hellos from Dixie this morning... then church and home again.. Today was our first Girl Scout Meeting of the year!

Labor Day yet?

 Wow - is it Labor Day yet?  I am ready for a not- crazy week/weekend!  Backing up a few days- Thursday night was Open House - Nora showed me where her caterpillar is on the 4th grade wall - see the purple one all the way to the right?  The one almost to the finish line - that's her's!!  Almost to the end of the quarter goal already!

Friday was crazy !  Just crazy!  We had Health Fair, School Pictures, and Boosterthon kick off - so busy day for teachers and busy day for us PTA folk!  We bought the teachers Sonic drinks and delivered a little sunshine to help the craziness... in the middle, I had to run to pick up our harvest share - we got honey this time with everything!!

Then back to school for the Boosterthon kick off... 

 It was stormy and nasty outside but the kids had a blast!!

 Then home, back to get Emily home and then I packed up and left.  I had some Girl Scout training to go to Friday night through this afternoon.

So that left Morgan to do FLL, Soccer for Rose, Birthday Party for Rose, Swim lesson for Nora... 

 While  I learned how to make a fire and take the girls camping..

 Back home again and Rose showed me her cool hat from the birthday party..

 and then time to head out again.  We were having a mom/daughter dinner get together for Emily's troop.

 So much fun getting these girls together and kicking off another year in Girl Scouts.
