 A little slime fun this morning - Nora made color changing slime...

 Then we headed north for our adventures today to Missouri.

 We went to the Precious Moments Chapel...

 After looking at the chapel - such a pretty place...

 we wandered out back and came upon these snakes... they were so cool to watch - but yes, they are mating...

 How cool though ...

 Back through the chapel...

 and into the gift shop...

 so many choices...

 but while wandering around we were introduced to Mr. Sam Butcher - creator of Precious Moments - how cool is that!!!

 One of our finds were these beautiful glass bulbs that are actually painted from the inside... so neat!

 Then a quick drive to the Jasper County Courthouse.. what a neat building!

 and onto the Battle of Carthage - one of the earliest battles of the Civil War...

A quick lunch at McAllisters... 

 and home again - Nora and Emily caught up on some Harry Potter movies..

 and me, Rose and Mom chatting with Dad on the Ipad...

 and an evening of games to wrap up the night...
