Caving and Celebrating

 The countdown officially begins - 2 weeks from today is the first day of school!  Ahhh.... so we are soaking up what time we have left with all the beginning of school stuff too...

 Sunday we headed into Missouri to go to Bluff Dwellers Cave... what a cool place!

 Once home a yummy dessert ....

 Today Nora wrapped up her summer with the 7up! program at the library...

 The group put on the weekly storytime and Nora got to help with the puppet show to one of our favorite storytime books...

 Nora also won a weekly drawing for the summer reading program and came home with a bag of lots of goodies - including a new Lite Brite!

 and a fun space exploration building kit!

 Emily took a cooking class this past weekend so we tried one of the recipes tonight...

 it was pretty yummy... a Vietnamese summer salad

 We also got word - Emily officially received her Girl Scout Gold Award...so from a Kindergarten Daisy and now a 12th grade Ambassador and Gold Award recipient.. wow!

And big news on this side of town - the Rupple Rd construction is done - so we had to take a test run and Nora took a video too...
