Library Tour

We took a tour with our Girl Scout troop of the new library expansion - they haven't start a lot of programming yet but once they do - it'll be awesome... just take a lot at this place!  

Our favorite librarian lead the tour which made it that much better!  Here's the new lobby area... 

The children's area is now the adult fiction section...

and here's the new fancy staircase leading to the new area...

this is the tech area - behind the glass you see are simulators - they have a plane simulator and an excavator simulator...

and an area that will house computers for editing and creating... 

such an amazing space!!!  It was so great to see Alyson too!  

and of course the girls had to go back upstairs and check out some books... 

 

Thinking Day Covid Style

World Thinking Day this year was a little different - no big gathering of troops but we still had fun.  With the size of our troop, we still learned about 4 different countries and got a special treat to have presenters from the University of Arkansas's International Culture Team
