Happy Halloween

Yet another crazy day - but fun and productive...started off with happy girls to see Morgan - they were so excited to see him this morning!  Then off to vote... yay!  Then to school, to the food store, home again, back to Holcomb for a meeting then home again. 

 We knew it was going to be a chilly Halloween so while dinner cooked, we gathered things to stay warm - supposed to get down to 22 tonight!

 Here was our Happy Halloween dinner (thanks for the ideas from a parent of mine from last year) - Pumpkin mandarin oranges, ghost cheese, candy corn pizza, and mummy hot dogs...

 Then we were off...

 Wouldn't be complete without Teaghan and Celeste...

 So much fun!! 

 We figured while we could still feel our feet - we should head home...

 So we sat on the front porch, drinking  hot chocolate and handing out candy...

 What a fun Halloween!!

Fall Fun

 A beautiful morning.... with some silly girls on the car ride to school...

 Rose and I had an exciting morning though -our usual making copies but we were also in charge of transporting some students from the UofA to Holcomb for "Holcomb Hornets Around the World" presentations.  I've organized the transportation for this event before but this was my first time actually driving.  What a neat experience!  The students were great and just a really neat experience...

We got home and baked our last batch of pumpkin bread for teacher gifts for Halloween and cupcakes for Rose's class for snack... yum!

 But then once the girls were all home - a little (well, a lot) of Fall fun!  Raking leaves, jumping in leaves, leaf fights (boy were those messy baths after that!), just beautiful weather and lots of fun outside!
